Dean Edge Q5 Quilted 5-String Bass is a very fine piece of musical instrument, solid craftsmanship, wonderful finishing for it`s price. A very good sound for your money, the EMG pickups are quite easy to regulate and ensure a deep punchy bottom, with clear crispy treble tones (really hang me on). I`m in love with the instrument. I`m a real proud owner of a 4003 jetglo rickenbacker. I`ve bought this one just to have a 5-string bass, but it surpassed all of my expectations. Very good sidekick for my Rick.
