Dean Edge 6 6-String Bass. I have played many different 6-string basses, Warwick, Yamaha, Tobias, and they are all great! Dean Edge 6 6-String Bass has a really smooth neck, strings are close and the sound is just incredible. And the price! I have still to find something as great as this instrument for such an affordable price. It is very easy to play on. I play classical, jazz and metal and it works for all those genres! I highly recommend Dean Edge 6 6-String Bass to anyone who might be thinking of getting a 6-string.

They started with a body styled and contoured for comfort and choice basswood to make them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be faster and sleeker than virtually all others. They then designed a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with their asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck. 35 inch scale, Dean Active pickups and Grover machines.
