After about half a year of playing it I needed to have the truss rod tightened slightly, but otherwise have had no problems. Michael Kelly Firefly 4-String Acoustic-Electric Bass is amazingly well constructed, the pickup works great, and the sound is amazing. You read reviews about acoustic basses having trouble keeping at the volume of acoustic guitars, but this completely shatters that. Playing alongside my friend the bass had a very strong sound easily capable of matching an acoustic guitar. And that was with fingers, a pick would make it even louder.
