Fender Highway One P Bass. I tried the 08 and 07 American Standard Precision basses and the 08 Highway One Precision and the Highway One had the best sound. The Highway One has a very warm sound and great sustain. I think it is because of the Badass II bridge and the paint job on the Highway One. If you do not mind the satin finish, instead of the glossy paint job, and the cheaper price ;) I would definitely recommend this P-Bass. I just wish the Highway One had the option to have a maple fingerboard and more paint job options. I am currently saving my pennies so I can purchase one of these bad boys. Without actually owning one of these basses for the long-term and knowing how they hold up. I would definitely recommend this bass. It is American made too! Fender Highway One P Bass
