Vito 7166 Low Eb Bass Clarinet is very nice. A student can go very far on this clarinet if they buy a good mouthpiece. Ever since I bought a clarinet designed by Tom Ridenour I have refused to buy wood clarinets. Vito 7166 Low Eb Bass Clarinet is made from a very nice dense plastic, much similar to hard rubber (which I recently figured out is the ideal material for clarinets). This clarinet has a very high quality design for the price. I bought a Vandoren B45 mouthpiece and a Rovner dark ligature and I great a great sound on this clarinet, matching clarinets that are several times more expensive.
